BSDQ pricing

Using the BSDQ and TES incurs certain fees for contractors. There are no fees for project owners or industry professionals.

Annual membership fee
$100 + taxes

Contractors committed with the BSDQ must pay an annual fee.


Electronic deposit
$5 + taxes

To submit a bid via the TES, a bidder must first purchase electronic deposits. For each submitted bid, one electronic deposit is required.

Withdrawal Fees 
1% of the tender, up to a maximum of $5,000.

The right of withdrawal is a privilege granted to a bidder by the BSDQ, allowing them to withdraw their bid after the closing time and date of the project at the BSDQ, under certain conditions.

Service Contribution 
0.25% of the bid amount* 

When a bidder obtains a contract after submitting their bid via the BSDQ, they must pay a service contribution. A recipient contractor does not have a service contribution to pay. However, when they award a contract to a bidder, they must inform the BSDQ within 30 days of this award. 
 

*Service contribution fees are currently capped at $500, which may be changed at any time without notice.

The calculation of the service contribution amount is as follows, excluded applicable taxes:  

  • For a contract of $20,000 to $200,000: 0,25% of the bid amount.
  • For a contract exceeding $200,000: $500.
