K-1 CONTRACTORS’ LIABILITY

It is the responsibility of tenderers and recipient contractors to comply with the tendering rules of this Code by opening a file if necessary, ensuring that they obtain and retain the correct information, both from the project owner and the contractors receiving the tender, and the BSDQ, ensuring that they are aware of any addenda that may be issued before the tender closing time, and transmitting information to the BSDQ, particularly notices of a postponement in the closing time for the filing of tenders by recipient contractors to the project owner, all in order to avoid finding themselves in a situation where this Code has not been complied with.
