Any legal entity not mentioned in the above list is also authorized to issue a tender bond and a letter of intent pursuant to the Code, upon written confirmation from the BSDQ, if it is authorized by the Autorité des marchés financiers to carry on, in Québec, insurance activities in the bond insurance category, or if it can demonstrate that it is considered an acceptable bond by major project owners carrying doing business throughout Québec, such as HydroQuébec, Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC), the ministère des Transports du Québec, the Société québécoise des infrastructures (SQI) or the Société d’habitation du Québec.
